Mamacitas Mexican Restaurant & Lounge in Cold Lake

We ordered Door Dash and the food was OMG so good. The best salsa I've had in a long while and I would HIGHLY recommend their eggrolls. I can't wait to try every single thing from their menu

The salsa was fresh quality and hot. The chips were crispy and lightly salted. I got mixed fajitas which the beef fajita had some undertone of pinkness. Other than that the drinks were refreshing

It was a good place to eat. Liked food and service. Charges we a little high. They also appear to have charged $1.50 for carryout containers: that was a first.

Great food and good hospitality. Their salsa is nice and spicy - two thumbs up.

Always drive by and never been. Well today is my birthday and we were on our way to a different restaurant and then I saw Mamacita's. I said oooh let's go there. So glad we did the food was great!!

Worst place ever. If I could give a zero i would. I don't want to waste more of my time on this place so I'm leaving a short comment.

Excellent service as usual, Fish is always outstanding. I don't know how he bartends and waits the patio. We had breakfast today and it was great.

Great friendly service! Someone from Emmons down the street recommend this place and it was super delicious! I had the Mamacita burger with charro beans instead of fries and it did not disappoint. My husband had the brisket enchiladas(he was not so fond of the sauce) but over all good. Our servers were super friendly and the service excellent. Our glasses were never empty. You guys are amazing!

We went to try this place out for the first time for my moms birthday. I ordered chicken fajita nachos and there wasn’t enough cheese on them. So when I went the second time I ordered extra cheese and they were so delicious!! The customer service is incredible. Everyone takes care if you from the hostess, to the waiter/waitress, the person who refills chips and salsa and many other. I love it here cause of how the employees make you feel. Looking forward to try other entrees they offer.

The meals were prepared quickly and brought out to our car. Everything was pretty good. The taco shells stayed crispy, which is rare for Mexican food.I would give 5 stars but the fajita chicken was a little tough.

The food was delicious. Everything from the chips and dips to the Chiles Rellenos, was prepared perfectly and flavorful. Even the iced tea was delicious. The masked staff served us in proper protocol. It was actually nice not bumping into people, tables and chairs. You could actually hold a conversation at normal voice level. Definitely recommend enjoying a meal here!

We went to Mamacitas last night, it was the first time I have been in years. I just want to say I really enjoyed everything. Walking in everyone greeted us. Everyone was wearing their masks and the server's even had face shields as well. We were checked on by multiple people throughout our visit. The food and drinks were amazing. I had the stuffed avocado, best one I've had so far. We will definitely be going a lot more.

Rest in peace. The owner of this place was a customer long time ago of the dry cleaning my cousin worked on. He was very nice man. Will be missed. Hope the food and recipe stays as good as he left it. This is the most friendliest place ever to go. Food is the best ever. There is customer name jerry Carter. He goes there everyday for margaritas. He is been going there for many years since he retired. And he still dont get bored. I celebrated my 37th birthday there fun crew

Just ordered Nachos from door dash. Opened container to find 5 whole chips. Who’s going to get full off 5 chips? Never buying from here again.

Great place to eat. Nice Mexican Style atmosphere. Good food, margaritas. Mariachi musicians are talented players.

I've never had a bad meal here, and the staff and managers are very friendly.

Response from the owner5 hours agoWe did have an entry and exit strategy but it’s hard to control when you are also doing temp checks . I will take note that the hostess needs to remind guests to wear while entering and exit . Public disregard for rules has been too much for us as essentials to implement . However with more team effort it can help .Me: I've never seen a temp check performed on anyone.Warning to all, when you enter you have to wear a mask. But when you exit, you do not. So there is a 5 ft x 5 FT entry/exit section where I was in an enclosed volume wearing a mask entering the restaurant, but a couple came out coughing not wearing masks while in that same space. Maybe exit should be different than entrance if the management cannot control this properly. I will avoid until it is better controlled. Advise others to also. They do have good food.

Average Mexican restaurant..not bad in any way just nothing that made it stand out from the rest. Super table side guacamole and good red / green salsas. Nice and attentive staff. Nice environment. Will definitely visit again.

The food is good overall as well as the ambiance, but it wasn't spectacular in any sense of the word. I had the enchiladas dish that included 3 different kinds (cheese, beef, and chicken) with a mole sauce and cheese melted on top. I enjoyed it. The salsa that comes with the chips are a bit runny, so I suggest you order a triple scoop of guacamole for an enhanced starter and a refreshing traditional margarita (with still water on the side) to wash down your main dish. Leche flan for dessert was a solid finisher.

I was having dinner with my dad and my son. The hostess was friendly and seated us right away. The wait staff was prompt with our drink orders. The chips were fresh and the salsa had just the right amount of spiciness. I had the shrimp enchiladas, and they were delicious! The waiter was very attentive and kept our glasses full. The location and prices are good, and the servings on my plate were perfect. I would definitely come back.

Great they opened back up but dishes were not cleaned, and poor service on the reopening.

Excellent Beef Fajitas, tasty and juicy with super attentive staff...hardly had to ask for anything as they watched the tables on their own and came to my family before I could ask! Nice service!

Service here is insane! The food is great! Just be prepared to have servers refill your drinks over and over and over. You take one sip from your drink and boom! They top it off haha at one point, I had to tell them to stop. I'm not complaining but it's hard to carry a conversation while being interrupted every 5 min asking if we need a refill. Don't get me wrong, I love the service! Just be prepared for that! The food is excellent! Fajitas are full of flavor. The spicy chicken plate is amazing! Drink from the bar are delicious. Overall, this is one of my favorite places to dine in.

Dinner was awesome. Food was it’s typical high quality. The space felt safe from Covid because all the tables were spread out and the people were all wearing their mask. Staff was professional w friendly. Definitely recommend to anyone who is looking to have a good meal out.

The food and service are really good. Typical of what you would expect from a Tex Mex place in Houston. They are also doing a good job of making sure the place is clean and not overcrowded.

Just ordered Parrilladas Delujo that feeds 4. Amazing! Normally get the chicken tortilla soup as it's the best I've found. But this is a feast! Chicken, beef, Quayle, shrimp.

Went in for a frozen strawberry margarita. Was disappointed, the server said they were out of the strawberry margarita. I tried the mango one, not bad. But not what I wanted for $10. The nachos were okay at best. Didn't expect much from nachos though. The service was good.
